Greetings to All My Family of Humanity~
I rarely post to any online Yahoo Group these days. I am working in some other areas. I consciously strive to balance my life in realms of existence online, offline in the local community and inline working on my own personal spiritual growth. I am now in my own home after nearly a year of being a homeless refugee and have Internet Connection where I live now. A lot has happened in Amerika and the world this last year or so. I am sure more will be happening as time goes by this year of 2012. I am not hyped up about all the End of the World crap surrounding 2012, but I do believe that there is a great transition that will occur in the not too distant future. Be prepared.
I hope this year will be the year when the world’s people wake up more than ever about what is going on in the world and their own vast potential to transform the world as we know it now. I will spare you the facts and figures now. Just be aware, if you are not already aware now, that there is a lot of real world suffering going on. Much of it we can blame on the Amerikan Empire and the corporate ruling class situated on Wall Street, but we also have to look at ourselves and be honest about what we can do, each of us on an individual level, to make life better for ourselves and for our loved ones.
We have basic survival needs: food, clothing, shelter, medical care and quality education. Yet we also have other deeper needs than physical material needs. We have what can be loosely termed as spiritual needs. The word ‘spiritual’ is so over-used and trite these days that it more and more loses its basic meaning. I use the term spiritual in the sense of our collective inner being, who we are deep inside as living beings, not just our racial, ethnic or tribal self-identities, but who we are in the quintessence of our beingness. Our spirit involves our inner consciousness and how our spirit relates to the external world.
Before I get too far ‘out there’ for you, let’s just say that the major changes that need to take place in the world is in our own spirits, our own personal ways of being, our own attitudes towards others and towards the external world in general. You alone cannot change the whole world, but you can change yourself for the better. Mature and blossom as a humane being.
We do not have to always be right, have the last word or even give proof of our personal beliefs. We are accountable for our outer words and external actions, esp. if they have a impact on others. We should be patient at teaching and good at learning You are not here to live up to my expectations and I am not here to live up to yours. You should live your own life the best you can and help others the best you can along the way. It is your life.
As for me, I am working on getting rid of my own character defects and improving my own personal shortcomings. I do not even try to be perfect. I just try to keep it real and live in alignment with my own personal principles. I am open to valid constructive criticism done with compassion and indulge in my own personal self-criticism.
It is easier to destroy than to build, easier to knock down than to encourage Be a builder in your life, work on your self-esteem and encourage others to be the best they can be.
I still maintain that we are now living under a mature scientific form of totalitarian fascism inside the United States and have for a few decades now. I saw it coming at least since the early 70s.
The ultimate aim of fascism is the complete destruction of all relevant revolutionary consciousness. Reforms will not work on a decaying corpse. We require the total transformation of present-day property relations, the baseline of a true revolution, between the 1% of the ‘haves’ and the 99% of the ‘have-nots’, not a new set of smiling tyrants nor merely another pawn in the Presidency. Whether revolution happens by forceful methods of struggle or peaceful non-violent methods is ultimately up to the masses of suffering peoples. It is out of my hands.
Global Revolution is the ultimate solution and that relevant revolution will take the form of one kind of democratic socialism or another. We are kept in face on a global level and we must liberate ourselves on a global level. We must dissolve any absurd concepts about nationalism that separates us from the masses. We are one family of humanity, not colors. We are poor, oppressed and many live with a constant fear about the future. We are now living under monopoly corporate capitalism. It must be toppled. There is no other way around it, despite how proficient so many are at distracting themselves from what needs to be done. I am not sitting around on a Bus Stop waiting for Jesus nor any other kind of Messiah.
Well I do not want to tire any weary eyes so I will close for now. We can learn nothing if we think we know everything. The more I learn the more I realize how ignorant I am about so much in the world. At least I am more aware of who I am in the world and who I am not. I am a humane being and Chicano de Aztlan.
Venceremos! We Will Win!
